Guidance, not advice

Everything on this site — calculators, articles, methodology notes — is general guidance. It is not financial, tax, accounting or legal advice, and it cannot account for your personal circumstances. IR35 status in particular is determined by working practices and contracts; verify yours with HMRC's CEST tool and take professional advice before material decisions.

Accuracy

We work hard at accuracy: rates are verified against GOV.UK and gov.scot sources, the verification date is printed on every calculator page, and the calculation engine carries an automated test suite. We still make no warranty that any figure is correct or current, and we accept no liability for decisions made on the strength of this site. Tax rules change — if the "last reviewed" date predates a Budget, treat outputs with extra care.

Embedding

You may embed the calculator on your own site free of charge using the snippet provided, provided the attribution link remains visible and unmodified outside the iframe. We may ask embedders who remove attribution to stop using the widget.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape at abusive volume, misrepresent this site's outputs as your own product, or republish our written content without permission. Quoting figures with a link is welcome.
