Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to sign up with a partner — for example a contractor accountant, umbrella comparison service or insurance provider — we may earn a commission. This never costs you anything and never changes the price you pay.

The rules we keep to

• Calculations are never influenced by partnerships. The calculator engine is a pure tax computation with a documented methodology; no affiliate consideration touches a single number.
• Every affiliate link is identifiable. They are routed through our go.toolseveryday.co.uk tracker, carry rel="sponsored", and a disclosure line sits next to every placement.
• We only feature services we'd recommend regardless of any commercial relationship, and generic recommendations (e.g. "use a specialist contractor accountant") reflect genuine consensus practice, not partner pressure.
• No ads. Affiliate partnerships are this site's only monetisation.

Click tracking

When you click an affiliate link we log the timestamp, the link clicked, your country (from your IP, which is not stored), the referring page and a hash of your browser's user-agent string. We use this solely to know which placements work. See the privacy page for details.
